Day One - Adelaide to Lake Mary 550kms Day 2 Travel via Roxby Downs to Lake Eyre South. Spend the afternoon looking at Aboriginal archaeology and fossil sites 180km Travel north along Oodnadatta  Track through Anna Creek Station. A shower at William Creek, visit the famous pub, then north through Anna Creek and Nilpinna Stations to Allandale Station, following the ruins of the original Ghan Railway line Arrive in Oodnadatta in the morning. Chance for another shower, and check out the historic town. Morning free, then in the afternoon travel to our camp on Hamilton Station. Visit Dalhousie Springs for a swim and a nature walk. After lunch we travel to Purni Bore and on into the southern Simpson Desert camping next to the Rig Road. Travel to Lone Gum, and then take one of the lesser used lines north to Approdinna Attora Knolls. Lot of deep sand today, we camp in the French Line. Travel along the French Line to Poeppels Corner, then northwards to the QAA Line. We camp on Adria Downs near Eyre Creek Onward to Big Red, then continue in to Birdsville where the desert dust can be washed off. Time to visit the Birdsville attractions, like the incredible Working Museum, the Blue Poles Gallery and the Birdsville Pub. In the afternoon we travel to our camp on Clifton Hills Station South along the historic Birdsville Track to Mungerannie Pub, then onto Etadunna Station on the Cooper, where we visit the ruins of the Bethesda :Lutheren Mission at Killalpaninna Through Dulkaninna and Clayton Stations to Marree for morning tea at the Oasis Cafe, then on to visit Talc Alf, Outback Artist for Lunch. Then its on to the Leigh Creek coalfields, a shower at Copley and a cuppucino at the Qandong Cafe before travelling to Red Gorge We travel through the Gammon Ranges National Park to Balcanoona and on to our camp at Chambers Gorge A visit to Blinman, and then south through the Flinders Ranges National Park to Brachina Gorge, then down to Hawker for a shower before travelling to camp at Warren Gorge and our last night.
